We the Bhutanese Resettled in the city of Scranton Pennsylvania, in all states of America and around the world are shocked by hearing the news of Today’s tragedy of killed 27 children and adults by shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut ,which in turn a devastating loss for the families, the people of that community and for all Americans. Our hearts are broken today. It is
especially painful because it took place in classrooms where children should feel safe as they grow and learn. Also they are the children of innocence age as we can say 'they are the gods'.
We all know that senseless acts such as these tears at the very fabric of a community. In times like this, let we all come together to support each other. To the people of Newtown, we are with you today and in the days, weeks and months ahead.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of those who were killed or injured today as well as to the first responders, law enforcement personnel and medical teams who are treating the victims.
All of us from the entire nation stand with the people of Newtown. On behalf of Bhutanese,I express my deepest sympathy to the President of USA, the Governors of the Connecticut, the people concerned and especially to the bereaved families of the victims. Also pray to the POWER OF GOD to make the way for their souls to reach and rest in peace in heaven and also have the speedy recovery to the injured members of the victims. Let the departed souls thoughts and dreams to the country and its people will come true. We always remember their day to day activities and dreams of hope to the nation in our hearts and memories.
